NODS and NODS-CLiP are not interchangeable names. The current imported record contains 17 questions and a ten-criterion scoring routine, while NODS-CLiP refers to a distinct brief three-item screen.
The existing 17 questions, local scoring, and result interpretation remain available without changing their calculation. Use this page as the site's established educational tool, not as confirmation that it is the separate three-item NODS-CLiP edition or as a diagnosis.

Scoring and result metrics
The result page reports a local screening score for this questionnaire. Use the score range, any subscale scores, and the interpretation band together rather than treating one number as a diagnosis.

Score interpretation bands
- 0Lower range
A score of 0 is not indicative of gambling problems.
- 1-2Mild risk
A score of 1 or 2 is consistent with a mild but subclinical risk for gambling problems.
- 3-4Moderate risk
A score of 3 or 4 is consistent with moderate risk for gambling problems.
- 5-10Elevated range
A score of 5 or higher is consistent with a likely diagnosis of pathological gambling.
Interpretation bands summarize screening thresholds from the questionnaire source material. Higher scores usually indicate more of the measured concern unless the tool notes a different scoring rule.
